Biography
I am the Founder and CTO of Zylotex Inc., a pioneering company transforming the textile industry through sustainable innovation. With over 20 years of experience specializing in industrial personal protective clothing, I bring deep expertise in textiles, product development, and quality systems.
I hold a BSc and MSc in Human Ecology (Textiles & Clothing) and am currently pursuing a PhD in the Department of Human Ecology at the University of Alberta. My research focuses on regenerated cellulosic fibres derived from hemp feedstock—an area I believe holds immense promise for the future of the bioeconomy.
At Zylotex, we are leading the charge in sustainable lyocell manufacturing, driven by a commitment to environmental responsibility and collaborative innovation. My passion lies in unlocking hemp’s potential as a cornerstone of the green economy.
