Clarence Shwaluk is the Director of Farm Operations for Fresh Hemp Foods Ltd. since 2013. Fresh Hemp Foods is the integration of two hemp pioneers, Manitoba Harvest and Hemp Oil Canada, the world’s largest manufacturer of retail hemp food products and ingredients. With manufacturing facilities in Winnipeg and Ste Agathe, MB, the company has an international market reach.
The Farm Operations team at Fresh Hemp Foods is responsible for managing seed genetics, farm production contracts, agronomic research, logistics, and guiding farm best practices with grower partners in Canada. The recent acquisition of Fresh Hemp Foods by Tilray Inc., a global leader in cannabis research, cultivation, processing and distribution, will increase opportunities for Canadian hemp farms to participate in a growing extraction industry.
Clarence’s education includes a B.Sc.(Ag.) from the University of Manitoba, and an Agribusiness M.B.A from the University of Guelph.
